Why I Love These Pumpkin Spice Donuts
- Only three simple ingredients you likely already have.
- No yeast, no frying - just mix, bake, and enjoy!
- Perfect fluffy texture thanks to the cake mix and pumpkin combo.
- Great for fall gatherings, brunches, or a cozy afternoon snack.
- A fun and easy way to enjoy homemade donuts without a donut shop run (way less expensvie too)!
3 Ingredients

Spice cake mix (15.25 oz box) - I like Betty Crocker but this will work with other brands, including store brands.
Canned pumpkin (100% pure pumpkin, 15 oz can)
1 Egg (helps the batter hold together and makes donuts a little fluffier)
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a donut pan with nonstick spray.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the spice cake mix, canned pumpkin and the egg. Stir until fully mixed.

Step 3
Spoon or pipe the batter evenly into your prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about ⅔ full.

Step 4
Bake for 13–15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean.
Step 5
Allow donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then gently remove and cool completely on a wire rack.

The donuts (above) on the right are how they look coming out of the oven. The donuts on the left have been flipped over. They are smoother because of the donut tin.
Optional: Dust with powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or drizzle with a simple glaze once cooled!
