Sometimes I worry that people think I'm strange. They mention something or I see something on Facebook and then I'm inviting myself over to take pictures. Because I know you want to see some of this stuff too! That was the case with Joyce. I saw something on Facebook. So, of course, I messaged her!
And, then took pictures of her succulent containers. I totally love them. They are so creative!!! Don't you think Joyce's succulent containers are amazing?
Joyce has a blog and I was telling her she should be blogging about her gardens, backyard and her house. I'm hoping she will and if she does, I'll share it with you!
Here's a closer look. The bird even has some LED's in it to make it light up at night. I should have asked where it was purchased.
See the cut wine bottles? Those all have tea-light candles in them. The wine bottles keep the drafts away and keep the cats from singeing their whiskers. I'll share with you what Joyce told me about the cut wine bottles. Remember the Pinterest posts that told you that you can cut wine bottles with string and acetate? Well, it was shared with me that it doesn't work well. But, some of the better cut bottles are being put to good use here in the planter.
Don't you love the fun bottle used to decorate the pot above?
Love the use of an old metal pot!
I have never grouped my succulent pots. But, I think I'm going to! This grouping just looks amazing.
Individual planters are also so pretty in their simplicity!
And this one, is Joyce's favorite. The little pot is only about 2 inches in diameter. I love it!
I did ask Joyce how she plants and takes care of her containers. I love her gardening style. Very simple! The soil is Miracle Grow. These containers get watered by the rain. If it doesn't rain, and the containers are dry, they get watered. I CAN DO THIS!
Thank you Joyce for sharing your succulent container with us. You are so talented and creative! Hopefully, you will share more about your home and gardens and I'll make sure to share the link with my readers.

You are welcome! I hope you enjoy your succulent bird bath as much as I enjoy mine! The bonus is, you don't have to change out the gross water all the time like you do in a bird bath.

Is there any way to find out where to get the standing glass bottle bird, I absolutely love it! Thanks for sharing

Beautiful. Love the mix media with the plants. It's like mini ornaments in a mini garden. Hmmmm that give me an idea. Great post.
