Craving peach cobbler, but short on time and cash? This unbelievably easy 3-ingredient peach cobbler recipe uses a yellow cake mix to create a delicious cobbler in minutes. It's perfect for busy weeknights or budget-friendly gatherings – ditch the fuss and enjoy an easy dessert!
1boxYellow cake mixI use Betty Crocker but use what you have.
1canPeaches Large 29 oz size, I use the ones with juice but you can use the ones with syrop.
½cupbutter1 cold stick butter sliced very thinly. (½ cup)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit.
I use nonstick spray on my casserole dish because it makes cleaning it later easier. And the whole point of this recipe is to keep it easy.
Dump can of peaches into the casserole dish. With every delicious drop of juice! I cut a few of the thicker ones in half but you don’t have to.
Pour the dry cake mix on top. Straight from the box! Smooth it gently with a knife (or a spoon, or a fork or your fingers….) DON’T MIX IT. Yes, it is dry and powdery on top of the peaches but when baked, the butter on top fixes that!
Cut the butter into thin slices (easier if butter is cold) and then spread it evenly on the cake mix.
You are done your prep.! Now put it in the oven for 30-40 minutes. You want it to be bubbly and the crust to be a golden brown. And it smells sooooo good!
Let it sit 10 minutes, then serve with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
StorageThis refrigerates well for up to 4 days as long as it is in a covered container or the dish it is baked in is covered. It may be frozen for up to 3 months if well wrapped. However, since this is such a quick and easy recipe, I would recommend making it the day you need it and if you have extra, invite some friends over!
