Chocolate Cherry Dump Cake
This chocolate cherry dump cake will hit the spot if you love cherry desserts. It is quick and easy to make plus its totally delicious. It takes less than 10 minutes to assemble and about 30 minutes to bake.

Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 2 cans cherry pie filling 20 oz cans (2)
- ½ cup butter (one stick)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 ℉.
- Spray your 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray. Pour the cherry pie filling into the prepared baking dish.Pour the dry chocolate cake mix onto the cherry layer. I usually use the back of a spoon to evenly distribute and smooth the dry cake layer. Do NOT stir the cake mix into the fuit layer.
- Slice the cold butter stick into thin slices. The more slices you end up with, the more coverage of the cake mix you will have.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. With chocolate cake it's hard to see if it's browning so really watch to see if the pie cherries are bubbling at the edges of the baking dish.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Ice cream or whipped topping is delicious on this easy dessert!
