These air fryer pigs in a blanket are my go-to when I want something fun, fast, and delicious. They’re made with just two ingredients – crescent rolls and Lil Smokies – and they cook up in about 6 minutes in the air fryer. The outside gets golden and flaky while the inside stays juicy and savory.

Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F. It takes my air fryer about 3 minutes to preheat!
Dry the Lil Smokies using a paper towel. If they’re too wet, the dough won’t stick well.
Unroll the crescent roll dough.Separate it into the standard triangles, then cut each triangle lengthwise into three narrower strips. You want them just big enough to wrap around one mini hot dog.
Wrap each Lil Smokie starting from the wide end of the dough. Keep rolling until the dough is all rolled around the little hotdog.
Place the wrapped hot dogs on the air fryer basket. Leave a bit of space between each one. The crescent dough expands.
Air fry at 350°F for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the dough is puffed and golden brown. Keep an eye on them the last minute or two – different air fryer models vary slightly. Mine are usually done right at 6 minutes!
Notes
Note that you may have some of the mini dogs left over. There isn't always the perfect number in the package. I have never had less than I needed! Can You Make These Ahead? You sure can! Wrap them a few hours (2-3) ahead and store in the fridge (uncooked) on a parchment-lined tray. Then just pop them in the air fryer when you're ready to serve. Can You Reheat Them? Yes – use the air fryer again! Heat at 300°F for 3-4 minutes until warmed through. The outside crisps back up perfectly.Serving Tip Place your cooked pigs in a blanket on a tray with small ramekins of ketchup and mustard in the center. My kids tend to dip everything in ranch dressing, and sometimes, I like BBQ sauce with these. Having the dips in the center makes these more colorful, and people love being able to dip!
