1 cupchocolate chipsyour favorite - milk chocolate, dark chocolate
Instructions
Preheat to 350 degrees.
Mix spice cake mix together with pumpkin and chocolate chips. Do NOT include the ingredients listed on the box.
Scoop into lined or sprayed muffin wells.
Bake 18-20 minutes (until toothpick comes out clean).
Notes
Make sure you are buying pumpkin puree, also known as 100% pumpkin. You do not want to buy pumpkin pie filling. Muffins can be refrigerated for up to 4 days in a covered container. I have also frozen these muffins (up to 3 months) by individually wrapping them and then keeping them in a big freezer bag.
