Ways to Make Oatmeal Taste Good!

Some people think oatmeal is boring!  I don't - but that's because I use a variety of toppings or I stir in things to add flavor and texture!

Ingredients

  • 3 ¼ cups water
  • teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups oatmeal either old fashioned or quick cook

Instructions

  • Using a heavy saucepan, boil salted water.
  • Add dried oats
  • For
    Old-Fashioned Oats
    cook 5 minutes at medium heat (slight boil), stirring regularly.
  • For Quick (1 Minutes Oats), cook approx. 1 minute on medium heat (at a slight boil), stirring regularly.
  • Portion into bowls, add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Notes
