This plant is called Goldenrod. It blooms late in the summer and in the fall. It has yellow flowers and is seen in in fields and where other wildflowers grow.

This plant is NOT ragweed! This is NOT causing your ragweed allergies! it just grows at the same time.


Ragweed does not have yellow flowers!  The tall green spikes are the ragweed flowers.   They are filled with pollen!

Notice how the leaves look.   They are lacy.  Some may describe them similar to some fern leaves.

This is a tough plant!  It grows in sidewalk cracks and on edges of the road.  Maybe your backyard!
