I can't even count how many times I've made this recipe! It's delicious and takes about 30 minutes to make (including baking time)!

Ingredients

This recipe uses simple ingredients like yellow cake mix, pie cherries, oil, vanilla and eggs.

Instructions

Mix cake mix, oil, water, vanilla and eggs. Spread a thin layer on baking sheet, reserving 2/3 of the batter

Gently spread the cherry filling over the batter layer.

Spoon globs of remaining batter over the cherries.

Flatten the batter globs but ensure you still have visible sections of cherries. Bake for approx. 20 - 30 minutes. Use the toothpick test to ensure the cake is done.

Allow cherry bars to cool and then mix and add glaze on top.
