Beautiful shade ground cover ideas.

It's in the spring that I do a lot of garden planning.  I think of what has done well & where I need to fix things.

These sedum groundcover plants are great perennials in my area.  They survive our zone 5 winters!

White alyssum, an inexpensive annual (to grow from seed or to buy) also works as a great groundcover.

I love these leaves!! This is a brunnera (bugloss) plant!  It's a perennial in zone 5.

It does well in full shade and has these little flowers early in the spring!

THIS is a beautiful columbine flower!

It comes in different colors!  I have pink, purple and yellow.
