    Recycling to make Christmas Decorations!

Published: Dec 9, 2015 · Modified: Mar 25, 2019 by Susan Moncrieff · This post may contain affiliate links · 1 Comment

    Hi Everyone!

Today I wrote a guest post over at My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia.  I'd love it if you would take a minute and go over there to read it!  And, also take a look around the blog.

I'm showing how to make Christmas decorations with things you already have.  And, my friend Lori was kind enough to let me share some of her creative ideas too!

Like this topiary.  It cost her nothing to make!

I'll show you how she did it.

And don't you love this lighted ball?  Way, way easier than the chicken wire ones you have probably seen on Pinterest.  This was another $0 Christmas decoration.  Don't you just love it when you can recycle and repurpose?

Oh, and I'll show you how I put this together.

I am a big fan of DIY projects, I love that lighted bulbs, I am planning to make some wreaths for xmas using local plants like thuja and oak. I might weave the string lights with led bulbs for decorating my creations. It would look like the bulb but it may have different shape, thanks for sharing.
