No cook overnight oatmeal – yum!
- 1 cup old fashioned oatmeal (Steel cut can be used for a chewier texture)
- 1 cup flavored yogurt (vanilla or a fruit flavored)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup fruit (roughly chopped - can use fresh or frozen fruit))
Empty a container of your favorite yogurt into a bowl.
Add a cup of old fashioned oatmeal
Add one cup milk
Coursely chop 1 cup fruit if using larger fruit. Add to bowl.
Coarsely chop fruit
Stir all ingredients together.
Fill your mason jars. If you don't have any handy, use a glass and cover tightly with plastic wrap.
Place in fridge overnight. The next morning it's ready to eat. If not a fan of cold oatmeal, heat about 30 seconds in the microwave and stir.
